Flowr on your desktop with Prism

If you are a Flowr power user, you keep a tab open all the time so that you can get notifications about the posts. If you want to free that browser tab, you can turn your Flowr network into a Desktop application.
To do this, we’ll use a free application from Mozilla, called Prism. It works on Windows, OS X and Linux. We’ll show instructions for Windows, but it’s similar on all platforms.
- Download Prism. If you’re not using Firefox, download standalone application.
- Run Prism and configure it to use your network:

- You can use this optimized icon:
- You’ll create a new application that you can now run. Your Flowr network will now run as a standalone app:

You can now keep it running in the background and it’s going to notify you, whenever there is something new in your Flowr network:

- OS X (you might need Growl to make this work):
