Flowr for your Google Chrome with Chrome Web Store

Posted in category General on January 19th, 2011 at 9:39 AM

We’re big fans of modern browsers and the way they’re changing how we use modern web services. To make it easier to access your Flowr network, we’ve created ‘a web app’ that you can install into your Google Chrome. Benefit of installing Flowr it into your Google Chrome is that you’re going to have easier time accessing your network and that we can integrate better with the browser since things like desktop notifications are already part of the app.

Give Flowr for Google Chrome a try and let us know how you like it.

Posted in category General on January 13th, 2011 at 11:33 AM

It has been an incredible adventure building Flowr and seeing it grow from an idea to a full service that changes the way teams work together. With our recent additions of new features and stability of service we feel it’s time to graduate Flowr Premium from a free beta into a subscription service.

With 1st of February 2010, Flowr Premium will become a subscription service. To keep all features of your current network, ensure that you purchase subscription before 1st of February.

Pricing for Flowr Premium is: 49 USD/month, which includes all features, unlimited groups and 10 users. Each additional user is 3 USD/month extra.

Flowr Basic is and will stay free. Existing Premium networks that won’t subscribe to Flowr Premium will be automatically converted to a free network on 1st of February.

Special offer for existing networks:

if you purchase subscription by the end of the month, we’ll double the number of months as a thank you for using Flowr beta from the beginning.

New feature: Weekly network summary in an e-mail

Posted in category General on January 6th, 2011 at 9:59 AM

Flowr networks tend to grow and evolve through time. First a small group inside your company tries it out, you start sharing and with time more of your colleagues join. You create more groups and invite managers into the network so they get a hang of what’s the chatter and to see how much better you can work without the constant e-mails that seem to CC half of the office.

With growth of your network, the volume of messages also increases and while you can create optimized flows and follow your groups, it’s always useful to get a broader overview of what’s going on. This is why we’re introducing weekly and monthly summary e-mails of activity inside your network.

Summaries are sent out every Friday at 6PM and on the last of the month. You can set your delivery preferences in your personal profile.
